In 2023, the Rio de Janeiro International Book Biennial celebrates its 40^th anniversary. FGV Press has been present since the first edition. This year’s event will take place at the Riocentro convention center from September 1 to 10. In this edition, the public will be presented with more than 500 FGV titles on a wide variety of subjects and there will be almost 5,000 copies on sale.

The Book Biennial hosts a festival of culture, literature and education and provides a great opportunity for people to meet the main star: books. It is a valuable event at the center of the Brazilian cultural scene, offering a comprehensive, innovative and multimedia experience. This unique festival ranks among the biggest literary events in the world.

As part of this celebration of reading, all of FGV Press’ most prominent works will be displayed in a booth specially set up to welcome visitors to this special edition of the Rio de Janeiro Book Biennial. In this edition, there will be a special section of books costing R$20.
