FGV professors discuss work of Celso Furtado

FGV's School of Social Sciences (CPDOC), São Paulo School of Business Administration (EAESP) and São Paulo School of Economics (EESP) held, on August 27, a debate during the launch of the book Essencial Celso Furtado, of Companhia das Letras.   The event was attended by professors Bernardo Buarque de Hollanda, from CPDOC, Luiz Carlos Bresser Pereira, from EESP, Rosa Maria Vieira, from EAESP, as well as the journalist Rosa Freire d'Aguiar - the translator who organized the book. The participants discussed the work of the intellectual and public man Celso Furtado, whose essential texts were included in the publication.   The former minister of the Federal Supreme Court, Eros Grau, and the historian of the Sorbonne, Luís Felipe de Alencastro, were also present at the event.   The debate took place at EAESP's headquarters, in São Paulo.
