FGV receives award at the Annual Meeting of the Society of Research Administrators International
The Director of FGV’s Applied Research and Knowledge Network, Goret Pereira Paulo, received the “Best Poster of the Year – International” award at the annual meeting of the Society of Research Administrators International (SRAI). The event was held in Orlando (USA) on October 27-31 and brought together research administrators from all over the world.
The award-winning poster – “Building Research Capacity” – presented FGV’s research governance structure (Ethics Compliance Committee for Research Involving Humans, Research and Innovation Commission, and Applied Research and Knowledge Network) and its Units, which include more than 700 researchers. It also described the systematic of FGV’s Applied Research Fund and its results in terms of number of prioritized projects, researchers involved, documents made available on FGV’s Digital Repository and research in collaboration with Brazilian and foreign institutions.
The 2018 SRAI was attended by American and foreign research administrators, representatives from major U.S. research funding agencies and representatives from the world’s most renowned research institutions. It included more than 150 learning sessions, which enabled the exchange of ideas on an international level, promoting the development and implementation of innovative policies in the field of research.
