FGV signs contract with the main think tank of Argentina

On August 8, FGV welcomed received the directors of the Center for the Implementation of Public Policies Promoting Equity and Growth ? Centro de Implementación de Políticas Públicas para la Equidad y el Desarrollo (CIPPEC) ?, Fernando Straface and Lucio Castro, in order to address future combined actions.

During the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between the institutions, attended by FGV's president Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal, the international director Bianor Cavalcanti, the executive director of the FGV's Latin American Center of Administration and Public Policy Marlos Lima, the planning director João Paulo Villela, the director of Studies and Business Antonio Carlos Porto Gonçalves, the director of the School of Applied Mathematics Maria Izabel Camacho, IBRE's superintendent of Planning and Organization Vasco Medina, the vice-director of Projects Francisco Eduardo Torres de Sá and the International Relations Manager Eduardo Marques.

The CIPPEC is the number one think tank of Argentina and the fifth of Latin America (ranking McGann, 2011). In 2011, it was on the spotlight with more than 6,000 references and 500 projects. Its main areas are education, health, government management, economy and social development.
