FGV welcomes students from the U.S. Department of Education program

The delegation was welcomed by Professor Eduardo Marques, of FGV's International Division (DINT), who gave a presentation on FGV, showed the facilities of the institution and talked to each student. During the meeting possibilities of academic cooperation were also discussed.

During this week, a group of over 30 students from 17 U.S. universities visited FGV through the International Academic Partnership program - an initiative that has the support of a specific fund of the U.S. Department of Education for the development of graduate education of the country, and aims to increase the number of partnerships with Brazilian higher education institutions.The delegation was welcomed by Professor Eduardo Marques, of FGV's International Division (DINT), who gave a presentation on FGV, showed the facilities of the institution and talked to each student. During the meeting possibilities of academic cooperation were also discussed.Apart from FGV, the program of the U.S. students' visit to Brazil included 13 institutions and other government agencies such as the Ministry of Education, Foreign Affairs and the Federal University of Pará (UFPA).
