FGV/EBAPE celebrates 62 years with an international EQUIS Accreditation from the EFMD

This accreditation represents an important international recognition of the quality of the School, which is granted only to institutions that meet the highest international quality standards in teaching and research. The Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration of Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV/EBAPE) celebrates today, April 15, one more year of existence and its many achievements of recent years.In 2013, the School was considered the best business school in Brazil by the General Index of Courses of the Ministry of Education (IGC/MEC). The master's and Ph.D. courses increased its grades and its scientific journals ranked 1st in the A1 and A2 productions, the highest classification levels by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). The Executive Master in Business Administration (MEX) also received a good grade, and scored five - the maximum grade for professional level courses.EBAPE's latest achievement was the EQUIS international accreditation from the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS-EFMD), which evaluates colleges and universities with a high degree of internationalization. This accreditation represents an important international recognition of the quality of the School, which is granted only to institutions that meet the highest international quality standards in teaching and research. I believe we are on the right track, said the director of the School, Flavio Vasconcelos.To celebrate the occasion, the School offered yesterday a dinner at Churrascaria Fogo de Chão, which brought together the administration board, professors, students and employees.The School was established in 1952 as EBAP - Brazilian School of Public Administration. In 2002, it became the Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (EBAPE).
