FGV/EBAPE held in Brazil the module of the International Masters in Management (IMM), in Rio de Janeiro. On February 17-21 students attended one of the five modules offered by the program over 20 months. In Rio, they had lessons with specialist professors in International Finance and Leadership and visited one of the most important companies located in Rio de Janeiro: Coca-Cola. The module in Brazil was also an opportunity for them to know a little more about the culture, history and economy of the city, which recently has been highlighted due to its growth in the global scenario. In the opinion of the International Relations' Manager at FGV/EBAPE, Mônica Balanda, the collaborative effort of the five reputable schools around the planet makes the program entirely international. Participants benefit from a body of international students and professors, besides the residential sessions that take place in various locations. Students travel with their own class to six different countries on four continents, and get two degrees, she said. The IMM is an international Executive MBA program, the result of a partnership among five major business schools: Krannert Graduate School of Management of Purdue University (United States), the Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration - EBAPE (Brazil), TiasNimbas Business School of Tilburg University (Netherlands), CEU Business School (Hungary) and Tianjin University (China). The course has an international accreditation by AACSB International (Association for the Advancement of Collegiate Schools of Business) and is aimed at experienced professionals who seek a master's degree in business administration while keeping their job responsibilities.
