Professors of FGV/EPGE - Graduate School of Economics - Humberto Moreira, João Victor Issler and Francisco Junqueira, their co-authors, and the student Diogo Saraiva, were awarded in three of the five existing categories of the SBE Awards - sponsored by the Brazilian Society of Econometrics. The awarded categories were Economic Theory, Econometrics and Applied Microeconomics.The works were presented to the public and the judging committee during the 35th Brazilian Meeting of Econometrics, which took place in December 2013, in Foz do Iguaçu. The Special Awards Presentation Ceremony took place on December 12th.The SBE Awards were created by the Brazilian Econometrics Society in 1994 to be awarded, every even year, to the best article published in the biennium in the Brazilian Review of Econometrics.
