FGV?s distance learning undergraduate program is one of few to achieve maximum score from the Ministry of Education

FGV received another maximum score from the Ministry of Education (MEC). Now it was the turn of the Undergraduate Course of Technology in Management Processes - a partnership between EBAPE and FGV Online - which was evaluated with a score of 5, the highest score of the evaluation. The result was published on February 15, 2013, in the Official Gazette. The course was ranked in 11th position among the 1,207 undergraduate distance learning courses registered in MEC, and emerges in a group of only 13 programs deemed of excellence in Brazil. The scoring system works in a descending order and is divided into five classifications. The highest score is 5, which is equivalent to a concept of excellence. Right after comes the scores 4 and 3. Courses with a score below 3 are automatically disapproved by MEC. The evaluation criteria takes into consideration the educational teaching and learning proposal, communication systems, course material, evaluation, multidisciplinary team, supporting infrastructure, academic and administrative management and sustainability. The government also takes into account the Enade (National Examination of Students Performance). The Undergraduate degree in technology management processes focuses on the control and application of knowledge and tools in the area of ??business administration. It is certified by EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) with the seal of CEL, which evaluates and certifies the quality of the programs of business schools. EBAPE and FGV Online's program is the first undergraduate course in the world to be certified by EFMD with this seal.
