FGV's Economics and Administration Schools are among the best in the country

São Paulo School of Economics (FGV/EESP), the Graduate School of Economics (FGV/ EPGE) and the Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (FGV/EBAPE) were granted grade 5 in the 2012 National Examination of Student Performance (Enade). That is what the last results of the examination, disclosed yesterday, October 7, by the Ministry of Education (MEC) revealed.From the 339 institutions that reached grade 5 (the highest of the evaluation), only four remained with the continual grade 5, which differentiates the courses within the same range of punctuation. Among them we can find EESP - the first Economic Sciences course in the country and first among all the 7,228 evaluated courses. EPGE also remained with grade 5, and it is considered the best undergraduate Economics course of the city and the state of Rio de Janeiro, and ranked 6th in Brazil.EBAPE's course of Administration is also the best in the city and the state of Rio de Janeiro, ranking 7th in the country. In addition, the School received another grade 5, thanks to the distance course of Technology in Managerial Processes.Enade is carried out in three-year cycles and it evaluates students both when they enter and when they complete their graduate courses. The 2012 edition covers applied social sciences, human sciences and related areas; the technological axis of business management, school support, hospitality and leisure, cultural production and design.In total, 1,646 higher education institutions throughout Brazil were evaluated.
