FGV?s School of Business Administration in São Paulo organizes week of Professional Master Studies in Lisbon

EAESP, in partnership with NOVA University in Lisbon, organized the first study abroad program of the school?s Professionals Master in Business Administration (MPA) from January 27 to February 1. The students of the 2011 class visited NOVA School of Business and Economics and the Bank of Portugal in a one-week program coordinated by the director of executive education at NOVA, Nassim Habib, and the coordinator of the MPA, Marina de Camargo Heck. The possibility of exchange was already offered individually to all students of MPA, but not everyone could take part in this opportunity. Additionally, the class had an opportunity to live the experience together, says Marina. During the course - taught in English - the students got to know the current challenges facing Portuguese, European and multinational companies and organizations that need to maintain their development by searching for growth and innovation mechanisms in the European market.Undoubtedly, we returned to Brazil with a loaded 'luggage', which brought us a feeling of professional growth achievement, says the MPA's group representative, Marcos Barcellos Silva. Moreover, according to Marina Heck, the study abroad week will be part of the course curriculum from now on. The Professional Masters in Business Administration of EAESP is the only one in São Paulo that achieved the highest score from the Higher Education Personnel Improvement Coordination (Capes), linked to the Ministry of Education.
