The former student of Rio de Janeiro Law School (FGV DIREITO RIO), Anna Beatriz Luz Podcameni, assumed the Military Prosecutor position yesterday, in Brasília. She joined the School's first Law undergraduate class in 2009 and passed on the first civil-service examination that she took.Anna Beatriz, 27, says that the School was essential for her approval in the civil-service examination. The interdisciplinary approach that FGV provides its students greatly contributes to the studies. This aspect is of particular advantage during oral tests because all examiners may formulate questions to the candidates, regardless of the specific subject on the examination day, she explained. Still according to her, the differentiated teaching methodology encourages legal reasoning and it was an important factor to keep her answers consistent. The now prosecutor Anna Beatriz also emphasizes that, in addition to studying, candidates must like the area in which they're taking the exam.  It's no use trying to take every civil-service examination offered. It is important to choose an area that inspires you to work hard and, after this choice, create mechanisms to keep focused, she says. And she recommended. New students, get the most of the classes. FGV professors are excellent and have always been willing to help us. In my opinion, all these factors make FGV students stand out in the market, she added.
