Free online event looks at visions of the Amazon
Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo School of Economics (FGV EESP) is holding another webinar in its “Amazon Dialogues” series, to discuss visions of the Amazon, on January 29, at 7 p.m. Those interested in taking part should sign up here.
The aim of this episode is to discuss the present and future of the Amazon. Understanding the region is the starting point for building strategies for its sustainable socioeconomic development. To this end, the debate will feature a historian and writer and an entrepreneur, both great thinkers on the region, to try to understand how the Amazon has been developing and the paths to its prosperity, while keeping the forest standing.

The event is part of the Amazon Dialogues, a digital platform to discuss topics related to sustainable socioeconomic development in the Brazilian Amazon with the whole of organized civil society.
