Wait until January to purchase durable goods like a refrigerator, stove and a car could be a good option for those who want to save. That is what the professor of São Paulo School of Economics (FGV/EESP), Samy Dana, stated in his column Caro Dinheiro (Dear Money), in the newspaper Folha de São Paulo.According to Samy, the sales at the beginning of the year are already a tradition in Brazil, with discounts of up to 80% on clothing, electronics, construction material and cars - more advantageous than buying them at Christmas. However, Samy emphasizes that it is important to think twice before purchasing a product, whether in December or January. Don't be seduced by the many items offered at the stores and the fascination of other customers (...). It is necessary to leave the house with patience to wait, collide with other people and, even so, manage to think twice about each purchase.
