FGV's Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (EBAPE) will hold from August 12 to 16, the short course Government Budgeting, with Professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, at the City University of New York, Marilyn Marks Rubin. Given that budget is the most important tool of a government to communicate policies, commitments and goals, Marilyn Rubin will reveal how much revenue to raise and how to satisfy recurring needs and priorities, among other decisions. The focus will be the United States' budget system, with an emphasis on revenue, and comparisons will be made ??for budgeting and tax systems creation in Brazil. Aimed at students of EBAPE's Professional Masters in Public Administration (MAP) and the Academic Master's program, the course takes place at the School's main office, in Rio de Janeiro. Read the short course program, in English, here.
