Graduate Seminars series hosts talk by professor from the University of Chicago

On February 12, at 10 am, the FGV´s Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (FGV EBAPE) will host a talk by Professor Evelyn Brodkin of the University of Chicago, as part of the 2020 Graduate Seminars series. At this event, Brodkin will present her paper on “Toward Understanding the State at the Street: How Street-Level Organizations Matter.” The talk will take place at FGV EBAPE (Rua Jornalista Orlando Dantas, 30, room 3, Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro) and it will be given in English.

Evelyn Brodkin is an associate professor at the University of Chicago’s Political Science Department. She has a PhD in political science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a master’s in public administration from Northeastern University and an undergraduate degree in journalism from Boston University.

The seminar is part of FGV EBAPE’s Academic Master’s and Doctorate Program. The goal is to promote high-level discussion of important and topical research subjects, such as Evelyn Brodkin’s study. The seminars are aimed at master’s and doctoral students, as well as researchers interested in the topic.
