GV Invest lecture addresses social business

The Study Center GV Invest, part of FGV's São Paulo School of Economics (EESP) will hold, on July 24, a lecture on Impact Investments and Social Business. The goal is to present and discuss new business areas focused on the impact and benefit to society. The meeting will be attended by the coordinator FGV's São Paulo School of Business Administration's Professional Master of International Management and the Sustainability Program and Base of the Pyramid of the Centre of Retail Excellence, Edgard Barki; the senior analyst of MOV Investimentos - a fund focused on social and environmental impact investments - Kim Machlup; and the consultant to NGOs and major companies in the development of social initiatives, who worked with urbanization processes in shanty towns for the State of São Paulo and created the social business Vivenda, Fernando Assad. The event, conducted in Portuguese, will take place at São Paulo School of Economics' main office in São Paulo - Brazil, starting at 7:30 pm.
