Insurance Seminar addresses market, public policies and regulatory governance
Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Institute for Innovation in Insurance and Reinsurance (FGV IISR) is holding the “Insurance and Reinsurance Seminar: Market, Public Policies and Regulatory Governance,” to present and debate the findings of insurance sector studies recently carried out at the institute. The event will take place on August 10, at 9 am, at the FGV Cultural Center (Praia de Botafogo, 186, Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro).
FGV IISR is an interdisciplinary center with the mission of contributing to the transformation of the Brazilian insurance industry, thereby boosting the country’s development. In this context, the studies’ findings will be presented by the Brazilian School of Economics and Finance (FGV EPGE), Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV EAESP) and Rio de Janeiro Law School, which are all members of the institute.
At the seminar, there will be three panel discussions to present the initial findings of research conducted by FGV IISR in the following areas: analysis of auto insurance demand in the Brazilian market; public policies and regulations relevant to the insurance and reinsurance sector; and the insurance industry’s regulations and regulatory governance.
