International guest to talk about government policies and institutional reform in China

Xie Chuntao will discuss the impact of Chinese government policies on the economy and the institutional reform in China, as well as its insertion in the world, particularly in America Latina.

The Nucleus for China-Brazil Studies of FGV’s Rio de Janeiro Law School (Direito Rio) and the Consulate General of China in Rio de Janeiro will host the lecture “The future of China in the Xi Jinping administration”, with professor Xie Chuntao, Vice President of the Academy of Governance of China, on November 7, starting at 10 a.m. The event will be held in the 8th floor Hall of FGV’s Main Office (Praia de Botafogo, 190. Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro/RJ).

The international guest will discuss the impact of Chinese government policies on the economy and the institutional reform in China, as well as its insertion in the world, particularly in America Latina.

Ambassador Luiz Augusto de Castro Neves, President of the China-Brazil Business Council and Vice President Emeritus of the Brazilian Center for International Relations (Cebri) will then comment on Chuntao’s presentation.
