International program analyzes Brazil’s experience in fintech sector
Fundação Getulio Vargas’ International Affairs Division (FGV DINT), in partnership with the University of the Andes in Colombia, recently held an event called “Doing Business in Brazil Program – From Multilatinas to Brazilian Fintech.” This immersive program, which took place last month at FGV’s premises in Sao Paulo, aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of the Brazilian business environment, with a focus on innovation and digital management in the fintech sector.
During the program, 17 Colombian participants had the opportunity to attend seminars taught by professors and market experts who addressed various relevant topics, such as Brazil’s political and socioeconomic situation, corporate governance, intercultural negotiation, business challenges and investment opportunities. Disruptive technologies developed and applied to financial services in Brazil were also discussed, offering a complete picture of the trends and innovations that are shaping the sector.
The immersion also included technical visits to leading companies, providing participants with a practical and enriching experience. At a Mercedes-Benz plant, the participants were able to get a close look at the operations of one of the world’s largest automakers, known for its leadership regarding the Industry 4.0 concept. During their visit to cosmetics company Natura, they came into contact with innovative practices and strategies aimed at sustainability.
