International researchers debate latest developments in economic theory
The objective is for the speakers to present new contributions in their respective fields of research.

Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Brazilian School of Economics and Finance (FGV EPGE) is holding a free workshop called “Economic Theory and Its Applications” on May 20, at 8 am. The event will take place in the 12th floor auditorium in FGV’s main building, at Praia de Botafogo, 190, Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro. It will also be livestreamed on FGV’s YouTube channel.
The event will feature some renowned international researchers: Leonardo Bursztyn (University of Chicago), David Dillenberger (University of Pennsylvania), Konstantin Milbradt (Northwestern University), Paulo Natenzon (Washington University, St. Louis), Pietro Ortoleva (Princeton University) and Helios Herrera (Warwick University).
The objective is for the speakers to present new contributions in their respective fields of research. It will be an opportunity to learn about knowledge at the cutting edge of economic theory.
The moderators will be Humberto Moreira and Lucas Maestri, FGV EPGE’s academic graduate study coordinators.
