International workshop discusses optimal control and mean field games

From October 14 to 18, the FGV´s School of Applied Mathematics (FGV EMAp) is holding a Workshop on Optimal Control & Mean Field Games. The event will take place in Auditorium 537 in FGV’s main building (Praia de Botafogo, 190, Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro). It will bring together researchers who work in the areas of optimal control and mean field games.

The purpose of the workshop is to promote discussion and scientific collaboration among researchers working in these areas, which overlap a lot. Twenty-one academics from universities in Brazil, Italy, Chile, Portugal, France, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, the United States and the United Kingdom will participate in the event.

The workshop is being coordinated by professors Maria Soledad Aronna (FGV EMAp) and Daniela Tonon (Paris Dauphine, France). For more information about the event, click here.
