International workshop looks at arbitration and decision making

On October 21, at 9:30 am, the professional master’s program at Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo Law School is holding an international workshop to debate issues related to arbitration and decision making. The event will take place in the law school’s main building, at Rua Rocha, 233, Room 111, Bela Vista, Sao Paulo. It will also be livestreamed on FGV’s YouTube channel.
The workshop will discuss subjects such as informational risk and negotiation, sole remedy and other clauses, rebus sic stantibus, excessive burdens and impossibility, contract changes, price review and renegotiation, recoverable damages and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Issues such as confidentiality, publicity of arbitration awards and blockchain will also be discussed.
