Meeting discusses role of entrepreneurs as change agents in society
FGV’s Internship and Career Development Center will host the University Entrepreneur Meeting (EE Universitário) on August 8, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The purpose of the event, which will be held in the 12th floor auditorium of FGV’s Main Office (Praia de Botafogo 190, Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro/RJ), is to promote entrepreneurship in the country, providing yet another opportunity for young people to see entrepreneurship as an actual path to trail in their lives and careers.
The event will feature Daniel Cohen, co-founder of EasyTaxi, and founder and CEO of Tripper, as well as Martin Vidal, founder of Let’Sushi. The guests will share their experiences as entrepreneurs and the constant challenge of taking a raw idea and turning it into a huge success.
The goal is to discuss the role of entrepreneurs as agents of change and disruption in a world where the job market’s evolution is seen by many as a threat to the future of work. Therefore, their role is to change the world, improving it for future generations by adapting and changing solutions according to the wishes and needs of those who demand them. The Entrepreneur Meeting is a social initiative with the aim of impacting and fostering entrepreneurship, founded by Matheus Costa, founding partner of YourDev, and Dario Perez, founding partner of Planeja Consultoria.
