Miami Business School joins OneMBA’s consortium of Global Schools
Ranked as the top Executive MBA in Latin America and top 50 in the world by the Financial Times, the Global OneMBA program has just announced the University of Miami Business School as a new partner. The renowned business school from the U.S. now joins FGV’s Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (EAESP), EGADE Business School (Mexico), Rotterdam School of Management (Netherlands), and the School of Management at Xiamen University (China), offering the program’s participants a truly global curriculum focusing on the international business environment and the specific market challenges across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
“The OneMBA community welcomes the Miami Business School to the consortium. The school is known for its focus on innovation, diversity and ethical leadership – which are perfectly aligned to the core values of OneMBA and drive our efforts to develop open-minded, responsible and creative global leaders”, said EAESP’s professor of International Business and Strategy, Jorge Carneiro, president of the Executive Committee and academic coordinator of OneMBA.
Miami Business School offers undergraduate, Master’s, PhD and executive training programs. Based on a major international business hub, the school is known for its global outlook, the diversity of students and faculty, and its close involvement with the business community.
“At a time when the U.S. is looking into the domestic market, we at the Miami Business School reaffirm our commitment towards promoting global dialog and mutual support as we join the OneMBA family”, said the School’s dean, John Quelch.
Established in 1929, the Miami Business School is known for its leadership and vision for the future. Its mission is to foster groundbreaking ideas and leaders of principles to spearhead global businesses and society in general.
“OneMBA gives an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the international business world, based on experiences and activities through global and diverse teams. There is no better way to learn in today’s world”, said the vice dean of graduate programs at the Miami Business School, Patricia Abril.
Created in 2002, OneMBA is a global executive MBA program that offers hands-on knowledge of the business world, building upon interpersonal relationships and insights based on applied theoretical principles, and encouraging students to redefine their own perspectives. Immersions in international residencies, multicultural challenges, and a global faculty are some of the elements that allow OneMBA to stand out in terms of credibility, recognition, and transformation of how students see the world.
