National Student Performance Exam: FGV programs receive positive evaluation from Ministry of Education
The Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (Inep) has just published the results of the 2017 National Student Performance Exam (Enade). In its first evaluation, FGV’s School of Applied Mathematics (EMAp) received grade 5, ranking first among Brazil’s private institutions. The Social Sciences and History undergraduate programs from FGV’s School of Social Sciences (CPDOC) were also among the best in the country, both with grade 4.
“We’d like to congratulate the employees, professors, students, and Deans of the Schools that took the 2017 Enade for the results they achieved”, said professor Antonio Freitas, FGV’s Deputy Dean of Education, Research and Graduate Studies.
The Enade evaluates the performance of undergraduate students, both freshmen and seniors, with respect to the content of the programs in which they are enrolled. The exam is mandatory for the selected students and an essential condition for issuing the school record.
The other undergraduate courses offered by FGV’s Schools (Administration, Law and Economics) are also considered excellent, according to Enade results released in 2015. They will be evaluated once again in 2018.
