New role of companies in private healthcare system discussed at event
Major Brazilian corporations, as in other countries, are organizing themselves to participate in the management of the healthcare benefit offered to their employees and dependents. They understand that the market and its players have not offered the answers they seek in terms of cost, transparency and quality. To discuss the issue, the Center for Healthcare Planning and Management Studies (FGVsaúde) of FGV’s Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV EAESP) will hold the event “The new role of the contractor/employer in the private healthcare system. Protagonist or supporter?” on June 28, from 7:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., at the FGV 9 de julho Great Hall.
The event is part of the 26th semester of FGVsaúde debates and aims to discuss how this new stakeholder input can impact the industry’s competition and dynamics, and if it is possible for healthcare to become a strategic element in business management, integrating the current assistance and occupational pillars. The subject will be debated by Eduardo Spinussi (Fundação Zerrenner/Ambev) and Aderval Paulo Filho (UNIDAS – União Nacional das Instituições de Autogestão em Saúde), and moderated by Alberto Ogata (FGVsaúde).
The event is open to the public and offers special conditions for the participation of FGV students, alumni, partners and members of the FGV community.
