Ninth Brazilian Behavioral Economics and Finance Meeting receives experts in field

The Finance Research Center at Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV EAESP) is hosting the ninth Brazilian Behavioral Economics and Finance Meeting. The event will take place on November 17 and 18, and it will be livestreamed on FGV’s YouTube channel as of 9 am.
During the meeting, there will be a forum to share research findings and professional advances related to the area of behavioral finance and economics, in order to divulge research in this field of knowledge and related ones.
The event will be moderated by Claudia Yoshinaga, the coordinator of FGV EAESP’s Finance Research Center and an FGV professor; and William Eid, professor of finance at FGV EAESP.
The speakers will be Daphne Sobolev, an honorary professor and researcher at University College London; Nirosha Wellalage, professor and researcher at the University of Waikato, New Zealand; Guilherme Pini, co-head of BTG Pactual Advisors; and Vera Rita de Mello Ferreira, president of the International Association for Research in Economic Psychology (IAREP).
