Olympic sports stars debate pandemic’s impacts on social projects

On Wednesday, May 20, at 5 pm, FGV Projetos will hold a webinar called “Sport’s Challenges and Prospects After the COVID-19 Pandemic – Part 4.” During this fourth virtual debate, specialists and former athletes will discuss the COVID-19 pandemic’s implications from the perspective of athletes linked to social projects, identifying necessary support actions by governments, clubs and sports organizations.

The webinar will feature Brazilian Olympic sports stars such as ex-volleyball player Ana Moser, ex-swimmer Joanna Maranhão, and Lars Grael, a yachtsman, former national sports secretary and ex-Sao Paulo state secretary for youth, sport and leisure. All these former athletes manage sport-related social projects.

The discussions will be moderated by the executive manager of FGV Projetos, José Eduardo Quintella, and FGV Projetos consultant and ex-sport minister Ricardo Leyser Gonçalves.
