Online meeting discusses technological challenges in rivalries between Great Powers

Fundação Getulio Vargas’ School of International Relations (FGV RI) and Japan House São Paulo are holding a webinar on technological challenges in rivalries between the Great Powers "Arenas for international coordination of various public policy purposes in data governance". This public event will take place in English, on February 2, at 8 pm, on FGV’s YouTube channel.

Factors such as the growing use of artificial intelligence, data governance challenges at a global level and changes in the productive structures of countries with the advent of the fourth industrial revolution have directly impacted competition between the Great Powers and shaped contemporary international relations.

Professor Hideaki Shiroyama of Tokyo University will give a lecture on technological challenges involving competition between the Great Powers. The moderator will be Professor Daniel Rio Tinto of FGV RI.
