Professor Maria Tereza Fleury elected president of Academy of International Business
Professor Maria Tereza Leme Fleury of Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV EAESP) has been elected the president of the Academy of International Business (AIB), which brings together a select group of academics who are recognized for their contributions to the development of research and education in the field of administration.
This is the first time that a candidate from Latin America has reached this position.
AIB is the foremost association of specialists in the areas of international business and politics. The organization’s objective is to stimulate and empower the global community of researchers focused on the creation, advancement and dissemination of knowledge in international business research, education, policy and practice.
Maria Tereza Leme Fleury is a professor in the area of international strategy. She was the dean of FGV EAESP from 2008 to 2015 and until now she was vice president of AIB. She is also a professor at Sao Paulo Federal University and a visiting scholar at the University of Cambridge’s Institute for Manufacturing, among other institutions. She is a researcher with professional experience in the areas of international management, skills management, culture and learning.
