RAE invests in digital transformation and becomes an exclusively online publication
The Revista de Administração de Empresas (RAE - Journal of Business Management) will become an exclusively online publication as of its next edition (July-August). This change is aligned with the global trend of open access to scientific publications.
Besides the institutional website and FGV Digital Library, the RAE is also indexed in SciELO, and ranked as the most accessed journal in the field of Applied Social Sciences in 2016, with more than 3 million accesses. The journal also maintains its international projection, supported by the world’s main indexes, such as Web of Science (Thomson Reuters/JCR, SSCI), whose rankings feature the RAE as the only Brazilian Administration journal featured among the top 10, as well as Scopus/Elsevier, among others.
In line with the digital transformation trend, the journal made its content available in other platforms free of charge, such as the FGV App – available for mobile devices with iOS and Android operating systems. In early 2017, the journal also adopted the versatility of Slideshare (presentation sharing social network), PDF and many other formats. The journal has made all of its issues available since 2015.
The RAE maintains its commitment towards scientific rigor, relevance of editorial quality, timeliness of publications, and all other well-known characteristics that mark the journal’s 55-year history as a benchmark in Administration journals in Brazil, classified as A2 in Qualis/CAPES, and member of COPE - Committee on Publication Ethics, a global reference in rigor, integrity and good conduct in scientific publications.
