Research Day: Event marks 25 years of FGV’s Scientific Initiation Program

Most of the papers showed concern with social issues of major impact, related to healthcare, education and economic development.

On October 26, FGV’s Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (EAESP) held a new edition of “Research Day”, devoted to discussing scientific papers by Business Administration and Public Administration undergraduate students. The event celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Institutional Program of Scientific Initiation Scholarships (Pibic), supported by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Research (CNPq) and FGV’s Office of the Provost.

In addition to the plenary presentation of three award-winning papers, the event also included seven roundtables, in which more than 30 projects were discussed. The Research Day was attended by professors, undergraduate and graduate students, who actively participated in the presentations and discussions on the proposed themes.

Most of the papers showed concern with social issues of major impact, related to healthcare, education and economic development. The event was also marked by a tribute to employee Isolete Rogeski Vieira Barradas, who has been working at EAESP for 38 years and has been on the Pibic since its first edition, substantially contributing to the program’s impact on the participants’ professional and personal lives.
