Rio de Janeiro City?s Government formalizes partnership with project supported by FGV

The project Rio+ made its partnership with Rio de Janeiro City?s Government official last Thursday, September 5. The event was attended by the mayor Eduardo Paes, the chief secretary of the Civil House, Pedro Paulo Carvalho; the founding partner of the online platform of collective engagement Benfeitoria (mentors of the project) Murilo Farah; the graduate studies coordinator of FGV's Rio de Janeiro Law School (DIREITO RIO) Thiago Bottino; and the coordinator of the Center for Legal Practice (NPJ) of the School, André Mendes.Rio+ has the support of Rio de Janeiro Law School through Clinic LAJUNN (Laboratory of Legal Counseling to New Business) of NPJ and seeks to create a playful way of civic engagement to transform the city of Rio de Janeiro and its citizens through the promotion and support of ideas submitted to the project's platform.Rio de Janeiro Law School will study the feasibility of the ideas submitted, and then measure the impact of carrying them out. Then, the best ideas, chosen by popular vote, will be awarded and made possible by the City?s Government, thus becoming public policies.Please click here to learn about the Rio+ project.
