Rio de Janeiro Law School Professor is recognized for strengthening academic relations between China and Brazil

The award is given to Brazilian professionals who contribute to strengthening the relations between the South American and the Asian countries.

On June 25, the professor of Rio de Janeiro Law School (FGV DIREITO RIO), Evandro Menezes de Carvalho, received a tribute from the organization Brazilian Professionals in China (PBC), based in Shanghai. The award is given to Brazilian professionals who contribute to strengthening the relations between the South American and the Asian countries.After a year and a half here in China I was surprised by this tribute paid to Brazilians. In my case, the reason for it was the work developed to integrate the universities of both countries, explained Evandro.Ambassadors Marcos Caramuru and Ana Cândida Perez and the president of AB InBev China, the Brazilian Michel Doukeris, were also honored.Evandro has been in China since early 2013. He was selected by the Chinese government, in partnership with the Organization of the American States (OAS), to join the OAS-China Scholarship Program. He is currently a visiting professor at Fudan University and senior scholar of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, both institutions located in China.
