São Paulo Law School addresses the challenges of human rights in Brazil

FGV's São Paulo Law School (DIREITO GV) and the Brazilian Human Rights Fund are organizing the seminar Advances and challenges to guarantee human rights in the country to be held on June 27th. The purpose is to take stock of the advances in protecting the human rights in Brazil and the impact of the civil society participation in this regard. The director of São Paulo Law School and advisor of the Brazilian Human Rights Fund, Oscar Vilhena, will open the event. Afterwards, there will be debates on human rights topics such as gender, race and environment issues, as well as NGOs' roles and sustainability challenges. Sponsored by Petrobras, the event will also provide workshops to offer strategies and tools for organizations to increase the visibility of their humanitarian work. The seminar will take place from 9am in São Paulo - Brazil. Check out the complete program here (available only in Portuguese).
