For second time, FGV is ranked among companies that best communicate with journalists
For the second time, Fundação Getulio Vargas has been ranked among the companies that best communicate with journalists. The institution was recognized in the Education category in an awards scheme run by the Center for Communication Studies (CECOM) and Negócios da Comunicação, a corporate communication magazine. The results were based on a poll of 25,000 journalists carried out in July and August, in a process audited by British consulting firm BDO Brazil.
These awards are designed to recognize the quality of companies’ relationships with journalists and identify how media professionals are treated in terms of ease of access to information.
“We are delighted and proud to find ourselves alongside brands such as Itaú, Vivo, Samsung and Petrobras, among other winners in their categories. This award reflects the Communication and Marketing Department’s commitment to strengthening the FGV brand and shows how the press recognize the work we have been doing. We are constantly challenged. Through its communication strategy, FGV maintains open, transparent and responsible channels with the press and society,” said FGV’s director of communication and marketing, Marcos Facó.
Whether due to the dissemination of economic indexes, high-impact research for society or the participation of professors and researchers in key national and international agendas, FGV has a prominent place in the press on a daily basis. This trust is the result of a history of credibility and collaboration built over more than 70 years, making it one of the world’s top five think tanks.
The awards ceremony will take place during the third Specialized Journalism Forum and Regional & Community Journalism Forum, to be held from November 30 to December 4.
