Seminar discusses future of China-Brazil partnership

On December 13, the FGV´s EPGE Brazilian School of Economics and Finance (FGV EPGE) and Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Rio de Janeiro will hold a seminar titled “The future of the China-Brazil global strategic partnership.” The event will take place in the 12th-floor auditorium in FGV’s main building, at Praia de Botafogo, 190, Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro, at 9 am.

The event’s objective is to deepen mutual understanding, share each country’s governance and development-related experiences, and boost economic, commercial and cultural links, so as to promote the China-Brazil Global Strategic Partnership. The seminar will be moderated by the dean of FGV EPGE, Professor Rubens Penha Cysne.

The seminar’s participants will include the consul general of the People’s Republic of China in Rio de Janeiro, Li Yang; the president of CCCC South America, Chang Yunbo; the president of CNODC Brasil, Wan Guangfeng; the vice president of State Grid Brazil Holding, Qu Yang; and Professor Evandro Menezes de Carvalho, of the FGV´s Rio de Janeiro Law School.
