Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Rio de Janeiro Law School is holding the fifth edition of the Brazil-Norway Seminar, in partnership with the Brazilian Association of Norwegian Shipowners (ABRAN) and Royal Norwegian Consulate General in Rio de Janeiro. This public event will take place on September 27, at 8 am, and it will be livestreamed on FGV’s YouTube channel.

The seminar will discuss the strategies and initiatives of the Brazilian and Norwegian governments to promote the sector’s development and the role of regulatory bodies and trade associations.

The in-person meeting will feature the dean of the FGV Rio de Janeiro Law School, Professor Sergio Guerra – who will make the opening remarks and keynote speech – and the president of ABRAN, Felipe Meira. The moderator will be Professor Patrícia Sampaio of the FGV Rio de Janeiro Law School.
