Southeastern Network of Digital Repositories meeting hosted by FGV

The Southeastern Network of Digital Repositories aims to discuss challenges and practices to conserve, manage and disseminate knowledge produced by universities and scientific institutions.

FGV Library System hosted the 1st Meeting of the Southeastern Network of Digital Repositories on May 17. The event was attended by representatives of the repositories of FGV, Fiocruz, UFRJ, Unirio, UFF and BNDES, in addition to professionals from USP, Ufes, LNCC and UFJF, which collaborated virtually.

Participants continued to address issues common to the development and advancement of Digital Repositories, such as the creation of a register of participating institutions, applications for extraction of institutional data from large databases, improving the presentation of statistics in the repositories, sharing of good practices of the participating institutions’ repositories and a digital preservation plan and policy.
