Specialist talks about importance of soft skills for 21st-century professionals
The FGV´s Brazilian Institute of Economics (FGV IBRE) recently hosted a talk by the coordinator of the Careers Center at the FGV´s Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (FGV EBAPE), Clarisse Andrade, about “Soft Skills for the 21st Century.” The event, held on November 8, was organized by ILIIADa, FGV IBRE’s innovation team.
Artificial intelligence, automation, robotics and big data are hot topics in the business world as the fourth industrial revolution gathers pace. However, alongside these technological advances, other trends are appearing in labor markets, allowing professionals to stand out from the competition.
In this context, Andrade discussed the importance of characteristics such as soft skills, work flexibility and transparency, as well as antiharassment policies for today’s professionals.
