Hiria, in partnership with Fundação Getulio Vargas, will hold the “Street Lighting and Smart Cities Forum – A New Start for the Sector and Prospects for the Market and Industry Between Now and 2025” on April 13 and 14. The meeting, to take place on online platforms, will present the visions of new mayors, investors’ appetite, solutions offered by suppliers and the work done by the sector’s planners and regulators.

The event will discuss challenges involved in enhancing street lighting in Brazilian municipalities in the context of smart cities and 5G technologies. By sharing experiences, the forum aims to contribute to debate regarding regulation and best practices in the structuring and management of street lighting projects.

The participants will include Charles Correa Schramm, the executive manager of FGV Projetos; and Joelson Sampaio, a professor of finance and coordinator of FGV EESP’s Economics Course.
