Students of Chinese universities visit FGV through a cooperation program

FGV was visited by students and professors of the Chinese universities partners of the Top China cooperation program, supported by Santander.

The group of 50 people was welcomed on August 10 in the auditorium of FGV Online. The professors Carlos Eduardo Sarmento and Istvan Kasnar addressed the theme Brazilian Culture and Society and Brazilian Political Economy: Prospects and Adjustment, respectively. Leonardo Shinohara and Marcelo Procópio, both from the National Steel Company (CSN), also presented a lecture on the relationship between the company and its Chinese counterparts.

The universities that participated in this exchange were: Shanghai Jiao Tong University, University of Science and Technology of China, Nanjing University, Fudan University, Beijing University, Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Harbin Institute of Technology and Xian Jiao Tong University.

Students from FGV Rio and São Paulo have also visited China in the same program. The selection of students to participate in the Top China is made by a committee formed by the international coordination departments of the university units in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo and by DINT's International Relations department.
