Students from IE Business School say goodbye to Doing Business in Brazil
EBAPE welcomed 18 MBA students from IE Business School (Madrid), who attended the Doing Business in Brazil - a program that aims to present an overview of the political, economic and social aspects in Brazil to professionals linked to foreign schools who have an interest in the Brazilian market.The students attended lectures with the University's professors and guests, and visited businesses and government institutions in Rio de Janeiro. In this edition, they got to know the multinational of the cosmetics industry L'Oréal, the Natural Beauty Institute, Grupo Votorantim, the Centro de Operações Rio and the Police Pacification Unit (UPP) of Santa Marta community. The aim was to show students important aspects of society, customs and business environments of Rio and Brazil, which led to a better understanding of how to do business in the region.In January 2013 it will be the turn of the students of the Professional Master in Business Management (MEX) to attend a similar course. They will be part of a Short Exchange, a one week program in Madrid, which focuses on management and culture of Spain.
