Think Tanks sign a memorandum of understanding

On October 15, executives of Bertelsmann Stiftung (BST), German Think Tank, a partner of GES, were at the headquarters of FGV for a meeting with President Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal, Vice President Sergio F. Quintella, the counselor Lindolpho de Carvalho Dias and directors.IDE's directors, Stavros Xanthopoylos and Mary Murashima, presented, along with professors Ronaldo Lemos (Direito Rio) and Renato Rocha Souza (Emap), FGV's online education programs to Bertelsmann's board member, Jörg Dräger, with the participation of Marco Aurélio Ruediger and Marlos Lima. Meanwhile, the director of FGV Projetos, Cesar Cunha Campos, the technical director Richard Simonsen, the managing director Antônio Carlos Kfouri Aidar and the coordinators Fernando Blumenschein and José Bento Amaral joined Bertelsmann's chairman, Aart de Geus, to speak about the experience of FGV Projetos in technical and public policy.On the 17th, during GES' event, FGV and Bertelsmann Stiftung signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the aim of fostering the exchange of knowledge, dialogue and cooperation among leaders, opinion makers and experts from the European Union and South America. This newly signed partnership includes the encouragement to the development of joint projects, high-level discussions between the two foundations, cooperation in reporting and analysis, exchange of experts, among other activities.
