For third time, FGV ranked among companies that best communicate with journalists
For the third time, Fundação Getulio Vargas has been ranked among the companies that best communicate with journalists. The institution was recognized in the Education category in the 11th edition of the Companies That Best Communicate with Journalists Survey, carried out by the Communication Business Platform and the Center for Communication Studies (CECOM).
The aim of the survey is to identify and highlight companies that value transparency and the maintenance of democracy through good communication with the press. More than 25,000 journalists took part in this year’s edition, which was audited by BDO Brazil. Journalists directly voted for three companies in each of 30 evaluated sectors.
“Being named by press professionals as one of the institutions that communicate best with journalists is a source of pride and it will spur on the Communication and Marketing Department’s efforts to strengthen the FGV brand. We have established an open, transparent and responsible channel with journalists, who connect our professionals and the knowledge they produce with society,” said FGV’s communication and marketing director, Marcos Facó.
FGV is the world’s third largest think tank and a leader in the dissemination of economic indexes, high-impact research and the production of public goods that contribute to Brazil’s socioeconomic development. In this context, the institution’s professors and researchers actively participate in national and international public debate, helping society understand major issues raised by the press. Journalists’ confidence in FGV is the result of more than 75 years of collaboration and credibility.
The awards ceremony will take place during the fourth edition of the Specialized Journalism Forum and Regional and Community Journalism Forum, which will be held online on December 6, 7, 8 and 9, 2021.
