University Entrance Exam: FGV begins selection process for Administration courses in Sao Paulo
FGV will welcome applications for the University Entrance Exam of the Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (EAESP) as of Monday, March 19. A total of 250 places will be offered for daytime and evening classes of the Business Administration program (40 through the National High School Exam and 25 for foreign students), and 50 places for the Public Administration program (seven through the National High School Exam and eight for foreign students). Classes start in the second half of 2018. Applicants must register via the FGV University Entrance Exam website, Vestibular FGV.
The undergraduate program in Business Administration was created for students seeking resources and tools to take on a leading role in the process of transforming not only companies, but also society and the economy in general. The Public Administration program is designed to offer students articulation, negotiation, and decision-making skills, in addition to extensive training to address international issues.
The FGV University Entrance Exam selection process will be available in eight cities: Sao Paulo (SP), Salvador (BA), Londrina (PR), Ribeirao Preto (SP), Campo Grande (MS), Sao Jose dos Campos (SP), Goiania (GO), and Recife (PE). During registration, applicants must select two cities, in order of preference – one of which must be Sao Paulo. The exams will only be held in cities with a number greater than or equal to 20 applicants enrolled for that city as the first option. Applicants from all other cities will be instructed to travel to Sao Paulo to take the exam.
The first phase of the selection process consists of multiple choice and written exams, on May 20. In the second phase of the FGV University Entrance Exam, applicants will be required to take an oral exam, in order to assess their ability to argue and justify the vocational choice detailed in the Application Letter, in addition to evaluating each applicant’s analytical skills, ability to influence their surrounding environment, engaging in new social experiences, and fully exercising their autonomy in organizations, while respecting the positions of other individuals. The final result will be announced at 6 p.m. on July 11, at the FGV University Entrance Exam website.
To introduce the undergraduate courses in Business Administration and Public Administration, FGV will host FGV Day in Sao Paulo, on April 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is an opportunity for students interested in studying at FGV to learn more about the curriculum, faculty, and teaching methodology.
100% English undergraduate courses
The first school of Fundação Getulio Vargas to offer undergraduate courses held entirely in English, EAESP has a specific program each semester for students interested in taking all of their classes in English (based on a minimum number of applicants). Applicants choose the course language when registering.
