Webinar addresses historical evolution of Japanese foreign policy toward Asia-Pacific

On Thursday, November 25, at 8 pm, Fundação Getulio Vargas’ School of International Relations (FGV RI) and Japan House São Paulo are holding an online debate called “Japanese foreign policy in the XXI century: re-orientation?” It will look at the historical evolution of Japanese foreign policy toward the Asia-Pacific region and key consequences during the 21st century. This is the fourth webinar in the second edition of a series of events organized by FGV RI and Japan House São Paulo.

The speakers will be Narushige Michishita, vice president of the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS); and Alexandre Uehara, coordinator of ESPM’s Center for Asian Studies and Business. The moderator will be Pedro Brites, a professor and deputy coordinator of FGV’s international relations course.
