Webinar brings together female leaders to debate the economy, energy and politics
The aim of the meeting is to bring together female leaders who work in areas related to politics, the economy and energy, to reflect on these variables’ effects on public policy making and the roles of the state and private sector in the country’s economic future.

FGV Energy, with the support of energy news website EPBR, will hold a webinar on August 24, called “Women’s View of the Economy, Energy and Politics.” The event will be broadcast live on FGV’s YouTube channel, starting at 6 pm.
The aim of the meeting is to bring together female leaders who work in areas related to politics, the economy and energy, to reflect on these variables’ effects on public policy making and the roles of the state and private sector in the country’s economic future.
The speakers will be the director general of the Senate, Ilana Trombka; federal prosecutor and former oil and gas secretary at the Mining and Energy Ministry, Renata Isfer; the CEO of electricity company Light, Ana Marta; and the coordinator of the FGV Brazilian Institute of Economics’ Macro Bulletin, Silvia Matos. The moderator will be Professor Fernanda Delgado of FGV Energy.
