Webinar debates regulatory and economic issues for those working on online platforms
The Center for Education and Research in Innovation (CEPI) at Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo Law School will hold a free webinar on Wednesday, May 5, at 10 am, called “Social Inequality and Work on Platforms: How to Solve This Equation.” The event will be broadcast live on FGV’s YouTube channel.
The purpose of the event is to discuss key regulatory and economic issues involving the protection and social security of those who work on digital platforms. The idea is to identify possible instruments and solutions, inside and outside the law, taking debate around social inequalities as the starting point. The webinar is part of “The Future of Work and the Gig Economy: Regulatory Issues Regarding Technology and Social Protection,” a project run collaboratively by CEPI and iFood to foster public debate on the future of work.
